Accidentally bumping a year and a half ago on “a series about a U.S. high school students”, I wasn’t expecting anything special. But everything turned out quite differently.
Probably the main reason for the success of Glee is the ability of this series to touch on something deep down, something that defies logic control. In the plot there are discrepancies, there are checkpoints on the script of the episodes. But the spirit never changes itself. The desire for something really high without ostentatious correctness. Not flimsy, and real emotions, be it inspiring joy or heart-wrenching pain. It is this atmosphere and helps to reach millions of people. Easy, unobtrusive only help to accelerate this process.
Don’t want to paint each character (it is better to see). But I can say for sure — everyone can find a character, at least one story which, even if small touches “for a living” will stir up some truly deep feelings.
Music is another characteristic Glee. In order to convey the emotions of the characters as possible, so that these emotions viewers feel like you sharper and designed performances in the series. And it really worked. Coupled with excellent acting turned out to be full of energy, of feelings, sometimes youthful idealism, the creation, the giver of pure inspiration.
